HONOR officially introduced the X7e to the Philippine market at a launch event held at 12 Monkeys, and the brand’s pitch for this one is simple: an entry-level phone built around battery life, durability, and everyday usability.
I was at the event as part of the media, and this piece covers what HONOR presented on stage and on the demo tables — first impressions, not a full review. We haven’t spent extended time using the unit yet, so treat the notes below as launch-day coverage rather than a verdict.

Heading: The Big Number: 7,500mAh
The X7e’s headline feature is its battery. HONOR is positioning the 7,500mAh cell as good for up to two days of typical use, or close to 32 hours of continuous video playback, paired with 45W wired fast charging. For a phone in this price bracket, that’s a notable jump, and it’s clearly the centerpiece of HONOR’s messaging for this launch.
Heading: Display and Design
The X7e ships with a 6.61-inch HD+ TFT LCD display running at 1604 x 720 resolution, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,010 nits. HONOR also included Dynamic Dimming as part of its eye comfort features. Design-wise, the phone leans into a clean, minimal look with a camera module that’s drawn comparisons to recent iPhone designs.
Heading: Processor and Software
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, running MagicOS 10.0 on top of Android 16. Memory configurations available in the Philippines include 6GB+128GB, 6GB+256GB, and 8GB+256GB. On the software side, HONOR highlighted a set of AI-powered tools, including AI Eraser, AI Upscale, and AI Remove Reflection.
Heading: Cameras
The rear setup includes a 50MP main camera paired with an auxiliary lens, while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera. Both support video recording up to 1080p.
Heading: Built to Take a Hit
Durability was another point HONOR wanted to drive home at the event. The X7e carries an SGS 5-Star rating for drop and crush resistance, along with IP64 dust and splash resistance. It’s the kind of spec sheet aimed squarely at people who don’t want to babysit their phone with a case.
Heading: Price and Availability
In the Philippines, the HONOR X7e carries a standard price of ₱14,999. HONOR is running a launch promo tied to its 7.7 2026 sale, bringing the price down to ₱9,999 for a limited time. The promo is available exclusively through HONOR’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.

Heading: First Impressions
On paper, and from what HONOR showed on the floor, the X7e looks like a straightforward pitch: give budget buyers a phone that lasts two days, survives a drop, and doesn’t compromise much on display quality for the price. Whether that holds up in daily use is something we’ll only be able to confirm once we get a review unit in for proper testing.
We’ll have a full hands-on review of the HONOR X7e soon. In the meantime, if the battery life and price point are enough to get you interested, the ₱9,999 promo through HONOR’s official stores is worth a look while it lasts.
