PCCI to Hold 51st Philippine Business Conference & Expo in October

Taguig City, Philippines — The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has announced the 51st Philippine Business Conference & Expo (PBC&E), scheduled for October 20–21, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

Carrying the theme “The Future is Now: Unleash the Power of Digital Transformation,” this year’s conference is expected to gather government officials, business leaders, technology innovators, and entrepreneurs to discuss strategies for digital adoption in Philippine industries and communities.

According to PCCI, the event will feature technology exhibits, policy forums, and business-matching activities aimed at translating digital solutions into practical applications. Key government partners, including the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), are set to present initiatives aligned with the country’s digitalization roadmap.

A major component of the conference will be the public Tech Expo, which will showcase emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cybersecurity solutions, robotics, and smart city applications. Local and international companies — among them Converge, Huawei, Google, Microsoft, and Lenovo — will present products and platforms designed to enhance connectivity, enterprise efficiency, and digital security.

The conference will also host the National Hackathon Championship, which will bring together regional winners from across the country to compete by developing technology-driven solutions to social and business challenges. Winning teams will receive mentorship opportunities, financial incentives, and potential partnerships for project deployment.

Policy discussions will address issues such as nationwide broadband access, financing support for MSMEs adopting digital tools, the labor impacts of artificial intelligence, digital literacy programs, data privacy, and cybersecurity. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and other officials are expected to take part in these sessions.

Unlike previous editions, the 51st PBC&E will combine policy discussions, technology demonstrations, competitions, and networking activities in a single event.
